Reflective dye plant
Extracted from Acacia catechu wood
Ideal for ash blonde (light/dark) and cool light brown shades
Main action: cools the reflections and tones down warm tones (anti-orange effect)
Recommended in mixtures with Lawsonia to balance its warmth
Not recommended on its own: does not dye significantly
Without synthetic additives (ammonia, PPD, sodium picramate, synthetic pigments)

General rule: never alone; always mix with dyeing or neutral herbs (e.g. Cassia, Indigofera, Lawsonia, Sidr).

To cool the highlights: use 5%–20% of the total mixture.

For more pronounced ash blondes: it can go up to 30%.

For cool light browns: combine with indigo and cassia in customized proportions, based on the desired effect
